Label on retail product box says "DK Nano Exact V.1+*** . I ordered the DK Nano V. 1+ G4(generation 4 ) with shake shuffle and movie where supposed to be played in .AVi format but the only instructions are a very small piece of paper folded 4 ways labeled "MP4 Multimedia Player" Quick Start. It informs me that the vidio format for this player is AMV/MTV and no where is .AVI format mentioned. So whats up with that. Is this the correct player. Under Setup-Firmware Version it reads 20090324- . This is a two GB unit. Scroll wheel seems to function properly, and music files seem to play ok. When I hook it up to either Vista or XP Pro it is seen as a USB external drive and I can see the directory which does not seem to have any subdirectory hyarchy. Everything seems to be dumped into same directory. Found file converter software on software disk, and it compresses file to .AVI which I can play on my desktop computer but not on the Nano. So is this unit AVI compatible or did they just throw in the wrong software disk with this player, because this player's only instructions says that it only plays AMV/MTV video file? All the other research that I have done on the web, suggest that this unit only plays AMV and not AVI files. If you have one that plays AVI how does it differ from the one I have????? Please help as I do not know what to do with the lightweight paper weight. Called and emailed Digitalkingz.com to no avail. Got absolutely no response from "Your boy Brian or anyone else. And by the way, "Your boy Brian" also said in the video review on this Nano Exact G4 Version1+ if that's what this is, that it also came with a nicer set of earbuds and not the usual cheap version. Well guess what set it came with, the cheap set for sure. Anyone out there in Digitalkingz land that can help me, I would be most appreciative. Thanks.
